What Is Christ Church of North Carolina?

Christ Church is a member of the Confederation of Reformed Evangelical Churches. Adhering to the Westminster Confession of Faith, we are Reformed in doctrine and worship and Presbyterian in government. As God's covenant people, by His grace and for His glory, we are called to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength by submitting to His word-law in every sphere of life. By His grace and for His glory we are committed to loving one another and our neighbors at home and around the world by proclaiming the gospel to the ends of the earth, making Christian disciples of all families and nations, and tearing down every stronghold, argument, or pretension that opposes the knowledge of God and the ever-advancing, triumphant kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Preaching and teaching which is expositional, both linear and topical, easily understood with application that is insightful, practical and effective.

Worship which draws from the Bible and the deep well of the history of Christ's Bride. Worship which invokes participation and appreciation because of its beauty and substance. Worship which prepares future generations.

Close & Edifying Fellowship

Fellowship which is unfeigned, comforting and strengthening one another for a vibrant walk in the faith.

Holistic & Relational Evangelism

Evangelism which flows out of the growth and life of the individual and family. Resulting in a life and family culture which puts flesh and blood on the bones of the Gospel.

Discerning where help is needed and how to effectively implement it.

Covenantal & Individual Discipleship

Discipleship which emphasizes the importance of the father and husband leading his family in the faith through word and deed. Establishing a godly atmosphere and culture in the home. This Biblical model will build strong families who will enhance the ministry to singles and the divorced.

Restoring Individuals & Families

Christ Church is developing a self-conscious accent on growing godly families. For out of godly families come men prepared to be leaders in the church. And when families apply the Gospel, it is a very persuasive demonstration to friends, neighbors and the community.
