Annual Spring Ball hosted by Christ Church | Saturday, March 24th from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM
Location: St. Michael Catholic Church | 804 High House Rd, Cary, NC 27513
This is a great event for the whole family. Enjoy dancing with your spouse and your children. Take the opportunity to teach your young men how to ask a young lady to dance, and later how to offer her a drink and seat her with her family. It is helpful for families to have a designated area to regroup after dances, so that little ones can be checked on, and young people can know where to find their parents if they need them. We encourage children to be active participants in our evening together.
We plan to have the dance order posted at the ball so that you can plan ahead. This list will include whether or not the dance is a mixer (where you continually switch partners) and what ages the dance is appropriate for. This is only a guideline; parents’ discretion as to age-appropriateness for the dance is desired.
Gentlemen, the ball calls for semi-formal to formal attire, which is dress slacks (no denim) a collared shirt, and a tie. Young men who wish to dance with any of the single young ladies should ask permission of the father prior to approaching the lady.
Ladies, your best church dress will suffice, or you can dress more formally. As the dances are very lively, you will need shoes that you can almost jog in.
This is a free event, however we do ask that you RSVP by March 17th by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org (no need to RSVP if registered for the spring conference).
